Founder & Principal Investor

Sathya Ramanathan, the Founder & Principal Investor is also the Managing Director of Turnwell Capital, has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry. He embarked on his professional journey as a Software Programmer, but his career quickly evolved into being a manager, leader and an entrepreneur.

As a co-founder of FileCloud, Sathya played a pivotal role in the company's growth and transformation, guiding it from a bootstrapped startup to a company generating an annual revenue of $10 million. At FileCloud, Sathya led the engineering team of over 50 engineers and managers. Additionally, Sathya served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) during the bootstrapped years of FileCloud. In his capacity as CFO, Sathya successfully navigated the due diligence processes with Private Equity Firms that raised a 40MM in Series A funding.

Sathya's areas of expertise include general management, financial accounting, and the strategic application of technology to enhance operational excellence in any organization.

Sathya has a master’s degree in management information systems from Texas Tech University and executive education on Enterprise Architecture & Organizational Design from Carnegie Mellon University.

Madhan Kanagavel, previously lead FileCloud's product vision, strategy, and execution. Bootstrapped the business to over 90+ team spread across 15 countries serving over 3000+ enterprise customers. Raised a 40MM Series A in 2021.

He has 20+ years of building product, including software server architecture and consumer-focused product development experience in Web, Desktop and Mobile environments.
